The 6th Dzongkhag Tshogdu Session of Tsirang Dzongkhag was held on 25th August 2025, corresponding to the 2nd day of the 7th month of the Female Snake Year in the Bhutanese calendar. The session formally began with the traditional Zhudgdrel Phuensum Tshogpa ceremony.
The session was chaired by the Thrizin and attended by the Hon’ble National Council Member, Dasho Dzongrab, Gups, sector heads, regional heads, a representative from Tsirang Rabdhey, GAOs, and Mangmis.
The agenda of the session included the endorsement of the Annual Budget for the Financial Year 2025–2026, and deliberations on other key issues of importance to the Dzongkhag.
The session concluded with the offering of long-life prayers for His Majesty The Druk Gyalpo, along with prayers for the continued peace, prosperity, and well-being of the Tsa-Wa-Sum.
