The seventh session of the Tsirang Dzongkhag Tshogdu was convened today.
During the session, the members deliberated on and endorsed the Dzongkhag’s Financial Plans for the Fiscal Year 2026–2027. The discussions focused on ensuring the efficient allocation of resources to support priority development activities, improve public service delivery, and promote balanced socio-economic development across all gewogs.
The local government leaders also discussed a wide range of agenda items submitted by the respective gewogs. The deliberations covered important sectors, including health, education, agriculture, livestock, infrastructure, culture, environment, local governance, and community development. Members reviewed existing challenges, assessed the progress of ongoing initiatives, and proposed practical interventions to address the needs and aspirations of local communities.
The session provided an important platform for collaborative decision-making, enabling members to deliberate on issues affecting the Dzongkhag and adopt resolutions aimed at enhancing the well-being of the people. The decisions and recommendations made during the session are expected to guide the implementation of development programs and strengthen coordination among stakeholders in achieving the Dzongkhag’s development goals.
