The Civil Service Wellness Day 2026, held at the Public Football Ground, Tsirang Sports Association, has been successfully concluded. The event brought together civil servants in a vibrant and engaging atmosphere, focused on promoting physical fitness, mental wellness, and a sense of unity.
The program commenced promptly at 7:00 AM, with participants arriving in high spirits and in accordance with the prescribed dress code. The day was marked by a special highlight—an inspiring address delivered by the Chief Guest, Dasho Dzongrab, which set a positive and motivating tone for the event.
Pre-race activities included a comprehensive briefing by the Marathon Coordinator, followed by a warm-up session to prepare participants for the run. The marathon was officially flagged off at 7:30 AM and saw enthusiastic participation.
Following the marathon, participants continued their engagement with a lively Sorig Zhiney and Zumba session. This segment added an enjoyable and rejuvenating dimension to the program, encouraging both physical activity and mindfulness.
The event concluded with an awards ceremony at 11:30 AM, during which medals and certificates were distributed to the top runners in recognition of their performance and effort.
About 224 civil servants took part in the program. This strong turnout shows their commitment to health and wellness and highlights the importance of such events for the group.
