Coinciding with an auspicious day on 15th December 2025, the Dzongkhag Administration, Tsirang, joyfully organized the Royal Civil Service Award Ceremony 2025 to honor and celebrate the unwavering dedication and loyal service of civil servants to the Tsa-Wa-Sum.
The Royal Civil Service Award is a noble recognition granted by His Majesty The King to acknowledge the distinguished services, hard work, and commitment of civil servants who have rendered dedicated service to the nation over the years. This year, a total of 48 civil servants under Tsirang Dzongkhag were recognized and awarded medals and certificates for their outstanding contributions. The recipients were honored in various categories as follows:
- 16 civil servants received the Bronze Medal, in recognition of their 10 years of dedicated service to the government.
- 23 civil servants were awarded the Silver Medal, acknowledging their 20 years of distinguished service.
- 2 civil servants received the Gold Medal, honoring their 30 years of continuous and loyal service to the nation.
- 7 civil servants were bestowed with the Lifetime Achievement Award for their exceptional dedication, integrity, and lifelong contributions to the civil service.
In addition to the award recipients, 19 civil servants who will be promoted with effect from 1st January 2026 were also felicitated with Tashi Khadar, a gesture symbolizing best wishes and acknowledgment of their professional growth and achievement.
The event served as a heartfelt moment of appreciation and motivation for all civil servants, inspiring them to uphold the noble values of loyalty, integrity, and service excellence. The ceremony also reaffirmed the Dzongkhag Administration’s commitment to nurturing a motivated and dedicated civil service workforce that continues to serve the people and the nation with utmost dedication.
