In line with the Royal Government’s vision of fostering a digitally inclusive society, the Government Technology Agency is currently implementing the Digital Skilling Program for citizens.

Both employed (aged between 40 to 49 years old) and unemployed (who must be class 12 pass out, graduates, school dropout and eligible jobseekers), across seven key sectors including agriculture, manufacturing, construction, transport, hotel and homestay, wholesale and retail trade, travel agent and tour guide, can register.

Each participant will undergo 12-day in-person training where 9 days will focus on core digital literacy skills and the final 3 days will deliver sector-specific digital skills training. This will be followed by an assessment at the end of the program to earn the IC3 certification, which is a globally recognized credential for basic digital literacy competence. Lunch along with tea and snacks will be provided for free during the 12 days training period.
