On September 19, 2025, the Bhutan Olympic Committee’s Multi-Sports Hall was officially inaugurated, marking a significant milestone in the country’s efforts to promote sports and community engagement. The state-of-the-art facility is envisioned as a premier space where athletes, sports enthusiasts, and fans can come together to shape the future of sports in Bhutan. Designed to cater to multiple disciplines, the complex houses modern courts for basketball, badminton, and table tennis, while also offering specialized training spaces for boxing and karate enthusiasts. More than just a sporting venue, the Multi-Sports Hall aims to nurture young talent, encourage healthy lifestyles, and provide the community with a platform to unite through the spirit of sports.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by Honourable Dasho Dzongdag, whose presence highlighted the importance of this facility in fostering both athletic excellence and community well-being.
