DAMPHU LOWER SECONDARY SCHOOL​


Damphu Lower Secondary School is located on a very
gentle slope between Damphu Central School and Damphu town. It occupies 11.50 acres. The school was established in 1986 as Primary School and was closed down in 1990. It reopened in 1991 and was upgraded to Lower Secondary school with the start of class VII (seven) in 2001.
The first batch of class VIII passed out in 2002. The school has been and will be continuously working in line with the policies and directives of the Ministry of Education to provide Quality
Wholesome Education to the students enrolled herein. The school strives to follow its own school level management policies for effective running and its growth.
With the start of 10th FYP, old structures were replaced by new with Government of India fund.
