Games and sports: The grass-root level football tournament was organized in Tsirang Dzongkhag under the aegis of Tsirang Sports Association. Participated by 13 schools, the tournament gathered 365 students girls and 332 student. The tournament organized were for boys under 10, 12 and 14 years old while it was under 12, 14 and 16 for girls. Semjong Primary School took the first position under 10 years category for boys, Damphu Lower Secondary School for under 12 years boys category, Semjong primary school under 12 years girls category, Salami Primary School under 14 years female category, and Mendrelgang Central School under 16 years old girls category.
Attended by Dsho Dzongda with heart warming advises and motivational statements, the tournament came to a successful end on September 29, 2018.
