Accounts

The Accounts Section of Tsirang Dzongkhag Administration plays a crucial role in managing and ensuring the financial integrity of the district’s public resources. It is responsible for the preparation, monitoring, and reporting of budgets for all sectoral offices under the Dzongkhag. The section handles disbursement of funds, maintains accurate financial records, processes salary and payments, and ensures that government expenditures align with approved plans and financial rules. The team works closely with the Department of National Budget and the Royal Audit Authority to maintain transparency and accountability in public finance.

Background

In addition to its core functions, the Accounts Section provides financial guidance and support to gewogs and sectors, ensuring proper implementation of decentralization policies. It also coordinates with procurement and administrative units to streamline financial procedures, ensure timely payment for development activities, and support service delivery. By upholding sound financial practices, the Accounts Section contributes significantly to the effective functioning and service delivery of the Tsirang Dzongkhag Administration.
