Sensitization Program on Common Habits of Youths in Conflict with Law and its Legal implications.

Spearheaded by the Dzongkhag Education Sector with the support of the Dzongkhag Administration, Tsirang, the Royal Bhutan Police, led by the Superintended of Police, Gyem Tshering, and Officer in Commander, Yurung Dorji and Lieutenant Ugyen Dorji, visited the schools of Tsirang Dzongkhag, w.e.f 4th October, 2021-23rd October, 2021 creating and advocating to the whole staff and the students on the following themes.

1. Children in conflict with law and its legal implications

2. Penal offences

3. Drugs in general

4. Cyber crime

5. Other related offences and the future concerns

The program was aimed at mitigating social issues that Tsirang is rampantly facing with the changing situation and in the long run, determined to see fading away of social chaos (Suicide, sexual abuse/harassments, divorce and other mischievous conducts in conflict with law and co-exist in a harmonious community, free of fear of losing loved ones, fear of contatiougus suicidal thought and dutiful loyal citizens very much understanding to the Law enforcers eventually contributing to the National goal of GNH society.

Dzongkhag Education Sector remain indebted to the farsighted leaders of RBP, Tsirang, for the strenuous activities carried out even during the weekends indicative of the selfless support to the Tsa Wa Sum.
