Dzongkhag School Sports Meet
Four Schools under Tsirang Dzongkhag gathered at Damphu Lower Secondary School. They were here to represent their school in the Dzongkhag Schools Sports Meet. The school sports meet starts from today for 3 days till 14th May.
The sports meet day is graced by Dasho SP, RBP and he was received by Teachers, Students and Dzongkhag sector heads.
Total of 435 students from Damphu LSS, Tsirangtoed Central, Mendrelgang Central and Damphu Central School are participating and 20 School Sports Instructor (SSI)from Dagana, Sarpang, Gelephu Thromde and Tsirang, who are technical
officials are involved in supporting and coordinating the DSSM.
The students will compete in outdoor games like football, volleyball, basketball and indoor games like table tennis, badminton and chess for three days.
In the opening, football match played between Mendrelgang Central School and Damphu Lower Secondary School.
Dzibgkhag School Sports Meet is funded by Education Sector of Dzongkhag Administration
