New Dzongda: Dasho Pema, the new Dzongda for Tsirang Dzongkhag, officially joined the office on July 31, 2018 corresponding to 19th day of the 6th month of the fire male dog in Bhutanese calendar. Dasho was formally received in a traditional chipdrel ceremony by the Rabdey Lam Neten and monk body, Dasho Drangpon and judicial employees, Dasho Dzongrab and sector heads, Thrizin to Dzongkhag Tshogdu, general staffs, regional heads, all elected leaders to Gewog Tshogdes and Dzongkhag Tshogdu, officials from Gelephu Thromde, police personals, business community, local residents, officials from nearby Dzongkhags and peers alike.
His Majesty The King appointed Dasho Pema as Tsirang Dzongkhag's Dzongda on July 18, 2018 along with Secretary of Cabinet Secretariat and new Dzongda of Trongsa and Zhemgang.
